We offer a wealth of industry experience and knowledge, in order to satisfy the client’s requirements for the job.
There are a number of systems available for commercial and industrial flat roofing. We offer full renewal of existing flat roofing and repair options In terms of new flat roofs we can offer the following commercial flat roofing systems:
Single ply commercial roofs are suitable for a wide range of applications, including refurbishment projects. They can be offered in an all-encompassing insulated option or single layers dependent on the needs of the client.
This type of ply roofing is highly popular, thanks in large part to its flexibility, which accommodates versatile designs, and its durability ensures maximum performance and its speed of installation at a relatively low cost, with a long life expectancy. The quality of the products available for single ply roofing has dramatically increased in recent years, particularly for large roof areas.
The installation of the single ply does not require a flame, which means a hot works permit are not required to conduct the works. What single ply membranes can you install?
Roofclad installs single ply membranes such as Renolit, Sika Trocal, Fatra and many more.
Commercial felt roofing systems are suitable for a wide range of applications, including refurbishment projects. They can be offered as an insulated option to increase thermal performance or single layers dependent on the needs of the client.
Today’s felt has come a long way over the decades it has been available. Felt is high-performance polyester based elastomeric felts, have very high tensile strength, that allows for any structural or thermal movement on the roof.
The application process allows the systems to be applied onto most surfaces including timber, asphalt, felt and metal. Felt roofing can be installed using traditional ‘pour and roll’ or gas torch-applied techniques. If your site has a ‘no flame’ policy, we can also offer cold-applied felt roofing, which doesn’t use hot bitumen or gas torches.
These systems come with labour and material backed guarantees, to ensure your flat roofs are watertight for up to a period of 35 Years.
Felt suppliers such as SIGNature, Garland, Icopal, Bauder and many more all offer substantial warranties. Our operatives are fully trained to install these systems.
A Liquid coated flat roof is suitable for a wide range of applications, including refurbishment projects. They can be offered in an all-encompassing insulated option or single layers dependent on the needs of the client.
Liquid Roofing Systems are cold applied systems for both cold and warm roof designs that cure into flexible waterproof coatings designed to adjust to fixings, seams, welds and joints. Such coating systems are usually reinforced with secondary materials such as fibre-glass to provide additional tensile strength. Liquid Roofing can be applied to various materials including felt, concrete, metal and more. They provide long-lasting protective solutions for all types of flat and pitched roofs, including skid inhibiting walkways if required.
Liquid systems can sometimes be combined with a single ply & felt roof to waterproof around challenging details for example steel columns protruding through a flat roof.
The purpose of liquid roofing is to provide a cost-effective method of waterproofing a new or existing roof. It can deliver up to 25 years performance depending on the coating system employed.
Liquid suppliers that are used but not limited to are Centaur Coatings & Tor Coatings.
We are also able to offer roof repair and maintenance of commercial flat roofs. No size of a roof is too small. Typical repair works conducted include liquid coating, felt repair, fixing replacement and roof sheet replacement on a wide range of property.
We are proud to serve the North East of England, including Newcastle, Sunderland and Middlesbrough. We also offer our services in the Yorkshire area. Including Leeds and the surrounding areas.
This will depend on your needs.
A commercial flat roof can last anywhere between 10 and 35 years. This will all depend on how well you maintain it of course.
