With over 40 years of experience, we are fully committed to ensuring all our contracts are achieved safely. We make sure to follow the guidelines stipulated within the Health & Safety legislation and the accompanying codes of practice including HSG 33 Health and safety in Roof Works.
We are committed to maintaining a very high standard of health and safety, we are externally audited annually and hold a number of Safety Scheme in Procurement (SSiP) accreditations including CHAS, Construction Line and Safe Contractor.

Our Approach To Health and Safety
Health and Safety is our number one priority. It is our duty and responsibility to ensure that our operatives, the public and any other stakeholders that could be affected by our works, are safe at all times.
We adhere to all relevant Health and Safety legislation following the requirements:
- Health and Safety at Work Act
- Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations
- Working at Height Regulations
- Construction (Design and Management) Regulations
- Asbestos Regulations
We have an excellent track record in health and safety, on both large and small scale projects.
We hold numerous accreditations that prove the company has all the necessary systems in place to carry out works safely and effectively. We keep track of all site safety issues by using the Safety Culture mobile app. This technology allows us to create and share live safety audits whilst on site.

How Do We Approach Health and Safety In Our Roofing, Cladding & Other Services?

Our in-house Health & Safety Manager ensures that our policies, method statements and risk assessments all comply with current legislation, for the benefit of our employees, clients and the general public. They will conduct regular safety audits and inspections on our sites to continually improve our health and safety performance. Our commitment to provide a working environment free from hazards, for both staff, sub-contractors, and members of the public, is fundamental to our success.
Health and safety training and procedures are fully integrated into working culture at Roofclad Systems
The importance of safety is stressed during induction training with all our staff and operatives and reinforced through toolbox talks on site and through continuous training. We can only achieve excellence in safety with the commitment of our employees and subcontractors following our safe systems of work and being proactive by planning operations, highlighting hazards and reporting near misses while at work. Our Health and Safety Manager has an open door policy regarding staff suggestions, encouraging all to put forward any relevant safety improvements as regards to theirs & others daily tasks.
General training as well as service-specific training is provided to all staff
All of our staff receive general safety training as well as specific task and product training, to help ensure a safe and friendly working environment. We are committed to carrying a fully trained workforce and all training is conducted in relation to the CITB training plans.

Roofclad Systems are specialists in the removal of non-licenced asbestos roofing products with a fully trained workforce. Our expertise in working with non-licensed asbestos roofing materials means that you can be assured of the safety, speed, legal and regulatory compliance of any asbestos removal project.
