Established in 1978 Roofclad Systems are specialists in roofing and cladding, based in County Durham in the North East of England, Roofclad Systems provide building envelope solutions and environmentally sound building systems for industrial use, including the design and installation of industrial roofing and cladding, flat to pitch roof conversions, strip and re-clad of old buildings, waterproof coatings and rainscreen cladding systems.
We have become known for our expertise, in-depth knowledge of roofing and cladding systems, and for the high standard of work we consistently deliver. These qualities result in high levels of repeat business and personal recommendations, which is testament to the high quality of service that is offered. Our aim, irrespective of the size of the contract, is to offer every client a comprehensive service with the right specification to suit the client’s needs at competitive cost.
Roofclad Systems take care of our customers every step of the way, from design to installation to maintenance after completion. Our experienced team can work from drawings sent to us in any format with or without specifications and we will be able to advise on the best and most cost-effective materials and design for any industrial or commercial building. Our designs are fully covered by professional indemnity insurance.
All our operatives are fully trained and certified installers for all major roofing and cladding manufacturers systems. We are able to design, plan and install industrial roofing and cladding, flat to pitch roof conversions, strip and re-clad of old buildings, built up felt roofing, single ply membrane, waterproof coatings and rain screen cladding systems.
We respond to urgent repairs immediately and agree individual timescales for each project dependent upon our individual clients’ needs.

We Will Visit You And Carry Out A Site Survey
The surveyors at Roofclad will come to your site and have a chat to discuss all options that are available as well as other fine details such as materials and everything else needed to carry out the project.
We Will Provide A Specification And Quote
Having visited the site and discussed in detail the project requirements, timescale, and materials needed, we will be able to provide a full specification and quote for this project.
Quote Agreement And Proceed With Project Planning
Upon receiving the specification and quote for this project, we hope that you will accept the quotation provided. Once the quote is accepted, we will begin planning this project within the timescales agreed.
Health and Safety Documents
With the project planning underway, we will issue you with all health and safety documents and regulatory requirements before the actual project takes place. It is vitally important that all health and safety documents are read ahead of the project beginning to ensure the safety of all those involved. Materials and Other Logistics
Once all the health and safety and regulatory documentation has been addressed, we can begin with the final stage before the project actually begins. We will order all materials and take care of all other logistics required for your project as agreed in the specification and quote.
Project Begins
When all parties are satisfied with everything, the project will begin with work on site commencing. We aim to provide minimal disruption to your business whilst carrying out this project.
Project Completion & Handover
Once the project has been completed and signed off, we will carry out final inspections with you to ensure you are satisfied with the project and that we have carried out the full project to your satisfaction and expectations.

Quality
At Roofclad Systems, we operate and manage our own in-house documented Quality Assurance system, with full records being given to the Client for interim and final inspections.
Our quality inspections are backed up by independent manufacturers inspections and electronic leak tests.
TRAINING
Roofclad Systems’ broad training matrix involves all personnel from site operatives to senior management and is tailored to the needs of the individual, the business and our clients.
Training modules cover everything from IT skills, Product Training courses, Health & Safety, NVQs for site staff, access training for Plant, towers, cradles, Legislation and Management skills.
Roofclad Systems also maintain 100% compliance to the CSCS and CPCS schemes and continuous training maintains our exemplary Health and safety records.
