Arco Professional Safety Services, a leading company in the safety and PPE industry, instructed us to carry out a comprehensive roof refurbishment at their head office in Eccleshall. The project involved overcladding to improve insulation performance and replacing rooflights to maximise natural light throughout the building.

The existing roof required significant improvement to meet modern energy performance standards. In addition, the client wanted to enhance natural lighting within the workspace to improve the working environment for staff.

Our team delivered a complete overcladding and rooflight replacement solution:

• Installed a 160mm insulation layer between the existing and new roof sheets, achieving a U-value of 0.25 W/m²K.
• Supplied and fitted 0.7mm profiled single-skin metal sheets, manufactured from hot-dipped galvanised steel with a 0.2mm PVC plastisol outer coating, providing strength, rigidity and a detailed side lap.
• Replaced internal and external rooflights with Class 1 internal and Class 3 external GRP rooflights, improving daylight levels throughout the facility.
• The works resulted in a roof system that not only improved energy efficiency but also created a brighter, more vibrant working environment.
