Client Problems
Existing roof required refurbishment to improve energy efficiency and durability.
Needed better natural daylight across both buildings.
Effective water management was a priority.
Our Solution
Installed new Z rails fixed to existing purlins, passing through current roof cladding.
Laid 100 mm thick insulation over existing roof sheets to achieve a U-value of 0.28 W/m²K.
Supplied and fitted 0.7 mm profile single-skin metal sheets made from hot-dipped galvanised steel with a 0.2 mm PVC plastisol outer coating.
Installed new internal Class 1 GRP rooflights in building 1 and external Class 3 GRP rooflights on both buildings to improve natural daylight.
Fitted a new Plygene PVC-formed waterproof liner into the existing pre-formed gutter system for efficient water management.
The combination of insulation, durable roofing materials, daylight enhancement, and improved water management delivered a high-quality, sustainable roof solution.
