Slick Stitch

MK2 Real Estate, a professional building consultancy advising commercial property owners on maintenance and asset value, instructed us to replace the roof of the Slick Stitch building in Wolverhampton. The works involved removing the ageing asbestos chrysotile roofing, installing a built-up metal roof and cladding system compliant with current building regulations, and fitting new roof sheeting with modern rooflights and guttering.

The Slick Stitch building presented a unique challenge due to its roof pitch and the degree of Georgian wire glass. These conditions increased the complexity of the works and the health and safety considerations. MK2 Real Estate required a solution that addressed these challenges, safeguarded building users, and preserved the long-term value of the property.
